During the first pregnancy with my son Marlé, I wanted him to get something very special, something created by myself. I made a very first plush animal that he named HUSE, a pretty funny mix-up between a dog [Hund] and a rabbit [Hase]. After this first sewing-project, the passion about it just kept on growing: after 6 years of extra-professional design- and sewing classes, I knew that I was gonna design my own clothes. As a mum of two, drawing the first little sketches felt like the most natural thing in the world.
The contradiction of complexity and simplicity plays a central role in my design. My creations are highlighted through thoughtful cuts that don’t disguise little personalities, but just let the kids be kids. My clothes represent spontaneity, the soft as well as the powerful side of childhood, they stand for quality and the extraordinary.
